THIS IS WHAT THE UNRULY MOB LAST WEEK
LOOKED LIKE IN OUR STATE CAPITOL …..
AND ALL THAT ORANGE ISN’T TO SUPPORT UT ! ORANGE IS THE COLOR CHOSEN BY THE PRO-ABORT MOB AS THEY STORMED THE CAPITOL AND KILLED THE PRO-LIFE OMNIBUS BILL WITH THEIR NOISY PROTESTS.
Now it’s time for us, the PRO-LIFE majority in Texas, to stand up for life and for an orderly legislative process. Our pro-life legislators have said that there were not nearly enough of us in Austin last week, and have asked that we be there for this next pro-life legislative vote.
We need YOU to join with us in Austin on Monday and Tuesday, July 1 and 2, as a united pro-life movement will be standing together against Planned Parenthood, Texas (and out-of-state) Democrats, Occupy and other radicals in a peaceful showing of our unity for Life and to encourage our Texas pro-life legislators to pass the omnibus pro-life bill.
Thanks to our courageous pro-life Gov. Rick Perry who called another Special Session to consider this legislation, we now have another chance to pass this bill which includes these pro-life measures:
- All abortion facilities to meet the requirements of ambulatory surgical facilities
- All physicians performing abortions to have admitting privileges to a hospital within a 30–mile radius
- Prohibition on abortions at 20 weeks post-fertilization and later, based on the medical fact that a baby can feel pain by this stage
- Regulate abortion inducing drug, RU-486 so that it must be used in compliance with FDA approved standards.
Here is what YOU can do!
1) Wear baby blue and come to the state capitol on Monday and/or Tuesday, July 1 and 2.
At noon Monday, the pro-aborts will hold a rally on the south steps of the capitol and we pro-lifers will be silently praying at the outskirts of their crowd. (They say they are expecting 4,000+ to attend.)
Also on Monday, State Sen. Donna Campbell is holding a news conference at 11:30 a.m. in the Lt. Governor’s Press Room with women who were injured by their abortions, and who were misled and deceived by the abortion industry. She is an emergency room physician who has seen the bloody work of botched abortions here in Texas.
2) Sit in at the hearings on the bill beginning about noon on Tuesday.
The room and exact time of the State Affairs Committee hearing have not yet been determined but will be posted at the capitol. We suggest arriving by 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. to get a seat at the hearing. It is expected to last very late into the evening, perhaps even until midnight.
3) Contact your state representatives and senator and urge them to stand for life and support this omnibus pro-life bill. Phone numbers are here.
Please pray for the pro-life legislators to stand firm, and for the truth of standing for life to prevail.
Be aware that this is just the beginning of this “second chance” to pass the omnibus pro-life bill.
There likely will be a need for thousands of us to be in the capitol – wearing baby blue – on the day that the bill is to be voted on by the House (possibly sometime the week of July 8th).
Then there will be State Senate hearings on the bill and a floor vote in the Senate, which is where we also will need thousands of our supporters – wearing baby blue – to show up and offset the orange mob.
We will keep you posted on what is happening and when so that you can join us as often as your schedule permits.
For those of you who tweet, here is our symbol. Please tweet and re-tweet (with the hashtag #Stand4Life) as much as possible. Thanks! #TXLEG is another one that the pro-aborts totally overwhelmed last week. Let’s not let them do that again in this second chance session!
Please pass this urgent message on to any other Texans that you can. RNC for Life will be there, as well as other pro-life groups and we need for YOU to join with us. Can we count on YOU, fellow pro-life Texans?
