Millionaire Abortionist Kills Born-Live Babies With Scissors
A Philadelphia abortionist and four of his employees are facing murder charges in the deaths of one adult and seven born-alive late term babies. The abortionist and four of his employees have been charged with murder. Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell is accused of the murder of one woman who died from an overdose of anesthesia under his direction and also of the murders of seven babies, born alive during abortion procedures and then killed by using scissors to sever their spinal cords. Additionally, the abortion clinic apparently operated in squalid, non-sterile conditions, described by the brother of an adult victim as “filthy and bloody.” Apparently there were even litter boxes and animals present in the rooms where abortions were performed. These conditions had generated numerous complaints, but Pennsylvania authorities had not investigated the clinic since 1993.
Last year, investigators finally checked the facilities at Gosnell’s Women’s Medical Society found grisly evidence which shut down the clinic. They also found that although none of Gosnell’s employees had medical training, unlicensed employees were allegedly administering drugs to patients, including a 15-year-old high school student who allegedly administered intravenous anesthesia with drugs that could have been lethal. The PA Dept of Health and the PA Dept of State (which oversees individual physicians) have been criticized for their inaction which allowed this abortionist to make approximately $1.8 million in just one year, according to District Attorney Seth Williams, who took the case’s facts to the grand jury for indictment. D.A. Williams says that although probably hundreds of born-alive babies have been murdered by this abortionist during his 30-year career, because there are no records, Gosnell can be charged only with these latest baby homicides.
By a vote of 245-189, the Republican-led House of Representatives voted Wednesday to repeal President Obama’s health care plan passed by Congress last year, with every Republican voting for repeal and 3 Democrats joining the majority. However, this vote is only the first step in Republican efforts to repeal and defund the program. To fully repeal the program, the Senate must pass the repeal legislation, followed by President Obama’s approval. Sen. Harry Reid is afraid to bring the bill to the floor as he may well lose enough votes from Senators who are facing re-election next year that the repeal bill could also pass the Senate! Of course, there is no chance that the President would sign it, and we don’t yet have Republican veto-proof numbers in either chamber. Still, it is good to see the Republicans on their way to keeping their Pledge to America.
