Well, of course, the usual “suspects” – Emily’s List, People for the American Way, The United Nations Foundation, Catholics for Choice, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and, of course, one of the largest donors: Planned Parenthood.
Both the incoming and outgoing Presidents of NARAL will speak and the Keynote speaker will be Stephanie Cutter, Former Deputy Campaign Manager, Obama for America, once again proving that abortion supporters and BHO are BFF’s. (Best Friends Forever in young girl-speak!) To see other sponsors of this anti-life event, go here.
Meanwhile the Heartland of America held its own anti-life celebration as the St. Louis Freedom of Choice Council celebrated the tragic date with a festive dinner at the Central Reform Congregation’s location. The keynote speaker was Reverend Traci D. Blackmon, a black minister, which is hard to understand since unlimited abortion has put the black population on the road to genocide.
A stalwart pro-life group, Defenders of the Unborn, prayed outside the event in solemn contrast to the unholy festivities taking place inside this Jewish venue.
Pro-life Marches, Rallies Show Support All Across America
Literally millions of pro-lifers marched for life in dozens – if not hundreds – of locations commemorating the insidious Roe v. Wade decision some four decades age. These events took place from sea to shining sea in America during the weeks and days surrounding the January 22, 1973 anniversary. Largely ignored by the mainstream media, some of these marches and rallies are shown below, along with the numbers of participants.
500,000 at the Washington, D.C. “March for Life”
3,000 at the Austin, TX “Rally for Life”
Sanger, TX New Life Church display representing
the 3,300+ babies aborted daily.
January 14, 2013 Cover Story: “40 years ago, abortion-rights activists won an epic victory with Roe v. Wade. They’ve been losing ever since.” While this TIME cover article isn’t available to non-subscribers, pro-life blogger extraordinaire Jill Stanek has written an overview with excerpts of the article’s major points. Read her post to see why we have reason to be encouraged, including the fact that more and more young people are becoming pro-life.
RNC for Life is grateful to all of our supporters who donated in commemoration of the infamous Supreme Court decision which has resulted in more than 55 million pre-borns being murdered in utero in America.
We pledge to continue to help elect pro-life legislators, promote pro-life legislation and educate the public about the horror that is abortion. Your continued financial support will enable us to do so. Please go here to donate today. Thank you.
