Take Action!Urgent Action Needed Today!

Tuesday, June 18, the U.S. House will consider H.R. 1797, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act authored by Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ). This will expand the ban on abortions at 20 weeks or later beyond Washington, D.C. to include our entire country. Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) will be the floor leader on this legislation. Various scientific studies demonstrate that babies of this gestation respond to stimulus and can feel pain. Of all the bills offered in Congress, this should not be one that the abortion industry gets to define.  We are talking about babies at the beginning of the sixth month; babies that can feel pain and who are then brutally murdered. Please urge your Congressional Representative TODAY to vote YES on this bill. To assist in the social media push, please use #theyfeelpain.

Pro-Aborts, Dems Waging a War on Babies

Dr. Alveda King

Dr. Alveda King, niece of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., has reversed the dialogue being used against the GOP and pro-lifers, as she calls the Democrats and pro-aborts efforts to maintain abortion on demand a “War on Babies.”

She clearly states that Cong. Franks is trying to save babies’ lives and is being viciously attacked for doing so. Read her statements here

Let’s join her in denouncing a phony “War on Women” and instead call attention to this gruesome “War on Babies.”

Florida Prohibits Gosnell-Like Procedures

The Gosnell trail and its horrific details have spurred several states to consider legislation which mandates that aborted babies who are born alive must be given appropriate medical treatment to preserve thGov. Scottose precious lives. Indeed, a federal law was signed by President George W. Bush in 2002 but is often ignored. The states are seeking to have more enforcement powers over abortionist like Drs. Gosnell (PA) and Karpen (TX) who brutally murder these newborns. Kudos to Florida where Gov. Rick Scott recently signed a law outlawing this practice in the Sunshine state and granting infants who survive abortion procedures the same rights as infants born naturally. Governor Scott was joined by First Lady Ann Scott and pro-life supporters from across the state to sign this bill at Florida Baptist Children’s Home in Cantonment, Florida, just outside of Pensacola.

In signing the bill, Governor Scott said, “As a father and grandfather, there is nothing more precious or special than welcoming a new child into this world and by signing this bill, we are protecting the most vulnerable among us and affirming their rights as individuals. This legislation ensures common-sense measures are taken to help care for the babies who survive abortion procedures and grants those infants the same rights as infants who are born naturally.”
