HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Only a human mother can.
Mothers are closer to God the Creator than any other creature;
God joins forces with mothers in performing this act of creation.

OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE OVERRIDES VETO OF PRO-LIFE BILL
Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry vetoed pro-life legislation because it did not contain an exception clause for women seeking abortions due to rape or incest; however, the House voted 81 to 15 and the Senate 37 to 11 to override his veto.
"Abortion is not a solution to the tragedy of rape or incest. Abortion is a second tragedy which compounds the tragedy of rape or incest," said Tony Lauinger, chairman of Oklahomans for Life. (Lifesitenews.com, 4/17/08)
RNC/Life has repeatedly pointed out that the exception makes the rule. When politicians claim that some babies' lives are expendable due to the circumstances of their conception or any other reason, they are sending the signal that they want abortion to remain legal in America.
