A BIT OF HOUSEKEEPING Obviously, the past few months have been the calm before the storm. Now we are in the midst of a storm of anti-life and otherwise liberal legislation and there appears to be no end in sight. This week alerts are going out from Republican, conservative and pro-life organizations headquartered in Washington, D.C. and everywhere around the country asking citizens to phone their Senators to support necessary amendments to the proposed stimulus package, and to ask members of the Senate Judiciary Committee to vote NO on the nomination of David W. As a result of increased activity by the grassroots, which we heartily applaud, the Capitol Switchboard and Senate offices phone lines have been jammed with calls and people are finding it difficult if not impossible to get through. We expect this situation to repeat itself time and again as President Obama and the liberal Democrats continue their barrage of bad legislation and the Republicans attempt to mitigate the damage.
Here is what you can do. First, try the Capitol Switchboard. HOUSE: 202-225-3121; SENATE: 202-224-3121 If that fails, use the following instructions:
Please print this information and keep it near your phone. As always, thank you for your commitment to the cause of life.
Never forget that YOU were once an embryo.

Reaching Government Officials Please send your messages via phone, fax, or regular mail. E-mail messages are ineffective because Members of Congresss receive so many and they don't have the time or the staff to read and answer them in a timely manner. | ||||||||||
