The right to life is the first fundamental right without which no other rights are possible. As we celebrate Independence Day on July 4, 2009, let us call to mind the founding document of our country, The Declaration of Independence.

If you are gathering with your family and friends to celebrate with hot dogs and fireworks, why not ask someone to read the Declaration aloud so that everyone in attendance can be reminded of the noble sprit expressed by the Founders.
