The right to life is the first fundamental right without which no other rights are possible. As we celebrate Independence Day on July 4, 2009, let us call to mind the founding document of our country, The Declaration of Independence. If you click on this link it will take you to a printable version of the Declaration. Please consider downloading and printing it out. Read it in light of current events. If you are gathering with your family and friends to celebrate with hot dogs and fireworks, why not ask someone to read the Declaration aloud so that everyone in attendance can be reminded of the noble sprit expressed by the Founders. We are all proud to be Americans! We send this message to you with our best wishes for a very happy Fourth of July along with a prayer for our nation and for our troops around the world and their families who sacrifice so much in order to secure our freedom.
