Texas GOP Elects Eagle Forum Leader Chairman
Cathie Adams has been elected the new chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, filling the unexpired term of pro-life conservative Tina Benkiser who resigned to take a position in the Rick Perry-for-Governor re-election campaign. Cathie is expected to run for a full term in 2010 at the Texas Republican Convention. Cathie, who is stepping down as Republican National Committeewoman for Texas, a position she won in 2008, has long been the very effective president of Texas Eagle Forum. She is knowledgeable and engaged on most of the issues affecting the state of Texas and the nation, and has won accolades for her successful lobbying efforts on behalf of Texas families and businesses. Cathie Adams is a leader, and her election as state chairman by the State Republican Executive Committee should be welcome news to conservatives across the country who are dismayed over the widening split in the Republican Party between the Reagan wing of social and fiscal conservatives and the Rockefeller establishment wing represented by RINOSs (Republicans in Name Only) who number among their ranks the likes of Senator Olympia Snowe and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Cathie will bring her grassroots expertise and familiarity with the issues to the table in Texas and at the RNC and Republicans in general will be better off for it.
Never forget that YOU were once an embryo.
